I wondered what making an observational painting on a stretcher in the actual shape of an actual Coleman Stove for camping, would do to the impression of space normally achievable with just a regular support. The thing became an object, with painting-like attributes. It is on the wall but can be shown on a table which is how it was displayed at our BFA Class of 2016 Grad Show.
