Cut-Out #2 displays five cut-outs arranged on a white panel. The way of brushing the thick oil paint in the cut-out shapes is an attempt to make the colour areas more conspicuous. Arguably when created that way they have a slight thickness above the support and are a physical substitute for cut-out pieces on his walls.
